YAMAKO-TAKAGI(located at IZUMI): Founded in 1929, this long-established company has a history of nearly 100 years. It has a fine reputation for handcrafts. The brown engobe called “NEZUMISHITA” and the flowing zaffer create a warm atmosphere. The tasteful shape with a thin mouth and outwardly flared edges is reminiscent of the time when the company was founded, when it was involved in the production of sencha (green tea) cups.
