ABOUT US

Izawa Corporation was founded in the Mino region, Japan’s largest ceramic production area, in the year 1900 as a trading company specialized in tableware. In the Mino kiln region, many artisans are engaged in the production of ceramics, such as producing potter’s clay and processing with glaze and painting, from small-sized professional potteries to large-scale potteries that produce wares of uniform quality.

Aiming to provide tableware that can be used easily, as well as color the dining of everyday life, together with the artisans of the Mino region, we are working to not only design tableware but also improve production techniques and address resource problems.

To enrich people’s lives all over the world even 100 years from now and to connect the regional culture of the ceramic-producing area to the future, we hope to hand down the good culture and traditions developed by our predecessors and the region.
